Herbaceous plant up to 20 inches. Baskets are single 1-2 inches in diameter, on long peduncles. Reed flowers are yellow, tubular - golden yellow. The culture is winter-hardy, photophilous, but to obtain larger inflorescences and prolonged flowering, plants are planted in semi-shaded places.
